We have multiple resources for case information requests!

*Contact us in writing/by email with the subject "Case Information Request". Copies of publicly available pleadings can be emailed for free! Paper copies are $0.25/page. Please include as much information as possible regarding your case information request.

*You may use our Public Access Kiosk located in the Cheyenne County Courthouse to view all publicly available pleadings. Please come to our window to request any copies you may need to be emailed or printed for you.

Media in the Courtroom

Media are welcome to attend public District Court hearings in Cheyenne County. We ask that you contact the Media Coordinator by email to ensure you have the proper understanding of Courtroom expectations, as well as review the list of items not allowed in the Courtroom. “Expanded media coverage” includes broadcasting, televising, electronic recording, or photographing of judicial proceedings for the purpose of gathering and disseminating news to the public. “Expanded media coverage” includes broadcasting, televising, electronic recording, or photographing of judicial proceedings for the purpose of gathering and disseminating news to the public. You must be a member of the Credentialed Media as credentialed by the Public Information Office of the Nebraska Supreme Court. Please contact the Media Coordinator by email with the subject "Expanded Media Coverage Request" for more information.
